“Choroonu” is the offering for the infants. For this offering the children, when they reach the growth stage to have solid food, are brought to the Shrine and the priests prays in the name of Mother Mary and St. Antony and feeds the infant the blessed gruel. Thus, the spiritual, mental and bodily growth of the child is entrusted to Mother Mary and St. Antony.
